Description
Buick Wartime Ad – Black and white 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad that talks about several of the ways that Buick was contributing to the war effort. There is a picture of a man working on a Pratt & Whitney engine that was produced by Buick and the headline calls him “Unsung Hero Number One”. The text explains that, in addition to building these Pratt & Whitney engines, Buick is training approximately 50 soldiers a week on how to service these engines and keep them running when overseas. A good engine is worth so much more when serviced by a trained mechanic.
