Full color 9″ x 12″ wartime ad that attempted to bring hope to the people who were waiting for their loved ones to come home, safely, and for things to return to normal. The ad has a picture of a peaceful town in the evening, lights on in every house, and an inset that shows a little girl playing a Wurlitzer piano as her parents proudly listen. The text talks about the improvements that the technologies developed because of the war will bring to every family and the fact that items will be available again. It reminds us that, before the war, more Wurlitzer pianos were sold than any other brand and, in spite of the fact that “Wurlitzer factories are now in 100% war production”, they expect to resume the fact of being the leader in Piano sales after the war.
