Description

Whitman's Candy Ad 1945Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for varieties of Whitman’s Chocolate Candies. This ad has Santa Claus standing there, his mouth open as he laughs away as he stands there holding a box of Whitman’s Sampler and a box of Whitman’s Fairhill Chocolates. It really makes a person think about Christmas when he sees a drawing of someone’s impression of a real Santa. The ad has sayings, one at the top stating that “It Wouldn’t Be Christmas Without Whitman’s Chocolates and the other, at the bottom of the page, saying that “A Woman Never Forgets The Man Who Remembers”.
