Description

Visa Ad 1986Full color 7 3/4″ x 10 1/2″ ad for their Credit Card. The ad has a picture of and a story about George Hadfield of England. It tells how twenty years ago he found a 175-year-old grandfather clock that was broken and he had to have it. He began to realize that no one in all of England could repair it so he learned how to himself. He now has his own clock shop in Shepshed, north of London, and he restores clocks such as the four shown in this ad. The text also mentions that if you come into his shop, bring your Visa card because he won’t take American Express.
