Description
1971 Toyota Mark II – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for the 1971 Toyota Mark II. The ad shows a Light Green Two-Door sitting on the edge of a ledge on an area overlooking a city as the evening lights are hitting. The ad headline wants you to “Examine the new Toyota Mark II carefully. But don’t let it fool you. It really is an economy car. You can bank on it”. The ad then says that “The Mark II is a paradox. First-car quality. Second-car price. A 108hp SOHC engine delivers power and about 25 mpg. Power brakes with front discs provide added safety. The interior, a tasteful combination of soft fabrics and rich vinyls. And the price, typically Toyota. Options: Automatic Transmission, air conditioning and stereo tape deck. Now, do you have the garage to go with the car?”
