1969 Toyota Corona – Black and white 7 1/2″ x 10 1/2″ ad that introduces you to a 1969 Toyota Corona by telling you that “One more thing Toyota gives you is a fully-automatic automatic”. The picture in the ad shows a lady stopped and looking out the side window of a Light-Colored Toyota with a smile on her face. The ad text continues by saying that “When we say “automatic,” we mean fully automatic! No stick. No clutch. No compromise. It’s a transmission that shifts for itself! And even with an automatic, Toyota Corona zips from zero to sixty in 16 seconds. Tops 90 mph. Mileage? Still around 25 miles or more per gallon. What else does Toyota Corona give you? Reclining bucket seats; wall-to-wall Nylon carpeting; loads of luxury and safety features…and a ride that lets you relax and enjoy it. So relax and enjoy it”. The end slogan in the ad tells it all, “Get your hands on a Toyota…you’ll never let go”.
