Description
Full color 8″ x 11 1/2″ ad for the New Texaco Motor Oil. The headline in the ad says that “You can’t get a better oil at 25 cents”. At the top of the ad is a post card written from Bill to Mr. J. J. Barnett. Bill writes that J.J. is right about that new Texaco motor oil and he hasn’t bought a quart of oil since he left about 1063 miles ago. The bottom of the ad is entitled “Reason – for the technically minded” and it says to give the credit to the addition of Fur-fur-al which was a “remarkable oil purifier”. That is not something that I have heard about in the days since.
