Studebaker Trucks – Full color 7 1/2″ x 11″ ad for a few of the many trucks that Studebaker had available this year. There is a large picture of a Blue 3/4-ton 8-ft pick-up that is loaded down with boxes and bags and is being driven on a snowy day through an unplowed country road. The caption under this picture mentions that there was also available a 1-ton, 8-ft pick-up as well as a 1/2-ton, 6 1/2-ft pick-up. There are several smaller pictures of larger trucks too. There is a picture of a Red one-ton with a 9-ft stake that is also available on a 1 1/2-ton chassis. There is a picture of a new style Green 1 1/2-ton truck with an insulated milk body and a picture of a Yellow 2-ton truck with a 14-ft stock rack body. The ad headline encourages you to “Get a 1949 Studebaker truck! It’s the newest and finest!” and the ad mentions some of the minor improvements but saves the best for last. They claim to have for the first time in a truck” real “lift-the-hood” accessibility.
