Full color 10″ x 13″ ad that says that “Casual outdoor eating means Van Camps pork and beans”. There is a picture of a father walking towards the camera hand in hand with his young daughter and son. They are wearing bathing suits and walking across the beach after playing in the ocean behind them. Awaiting them are plates of hot dogs, baked beans, tomatoes, lettuce and a salad beside them. The first line of the ad says that “There’s something especially good about outdoor eating – and that something is Van Camp’s Pork and Beans! Van Camp’s are protein rich beans, pre-cooked in a Secret Savory Tomato Sauce”. This is one of 150 foods, canned or frozen, by Stokely – Van Camp.
