Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their V.O. Canadian Whisky. This ad, from their By Men Who Plan Beyond Tomorrow series, has a drawing of what was once a desert, now filled with green grass and rows of something growing. Prominent in the picture is a green domed building with fancy electrodes coming out from the top and the headline promises that “Deserts Will Bloom Through Atomic Power”. The text talks about the amazing advances that were being made with atomic energy and what will probably happen. It then, matter-of-factly reminds us that Seagram’s is still making the same old, good Canadian Whisky, and you can buy it now.
