Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their V.O. Canadian Whisky. There is a drawing of a polo game going on with two men fighting for position on the ball rolling slightly ahead of the position they and their horses occupy. The sidelines are packed with parked cars and intently watching people as the headline announces that “Now the whistle shrills”. The text indicates that the match has ended and reveals that this has taken place at Oakbrook and now the exhilarated crowd begins to celebrate with Seagram’s V.O.. It claims that “V.O. is poured wherever sportsmen commemorate great events” and that it is also “Known by the company it keeps”.
