Description

Seagram’s Whiskey Ad July 1954Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for Seagram’s Seven Crown Blended Whiskey and there is a drawing of an ice-coated river with a bottle of Seagram’s standing next to a very large “7” with a crown on its head and, floating in the river behind these items, is the word Sure behind it. The message at the top of the ad is Sure as Ice Floats” and at the bottom it says “Say Seagram’s and be Sure. The ad says that “Ice is Nice…because, among other things, it floats in drinks and makes them cold. And millions agree that ice is nicest when it’s floating in a tall cold superfine drink made with Seagram’s 7 Crown – America’s favorite whiskey”.
