The ad has a picture of an Japanese lady in an appropriate gown turning to stare intently at the camera as the headline ensures that “Only Kyoto is Kyoto. Only V.O. is V.O.“. The text describes the scenery, wonder and importance of Kyoto and compares it to Seagram’s V.O. as being a “one-of-a-kind creation”. It touts this whisky as being “The First Canadian in smoothness. The First Canadian in lightness. And the First Canadian in popularity throughout the world”.
