Description
Black and white 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad that discusses the steps involved in the making of Schenley’s Whiskies. There is a drawing that shows a bear of a man poised with hammer overhead getting ready to smash the barrel in front of him and pop the bung out. The headline says there is a “New way to roll out the barrels” and the text paints a magical picture of all of the human senses being awakened as the carefully aged whiskey is exposed to the air after being aged for whatever number of years are required. It talks about the sampling that each individual barrel undergoes to determine when they each are ready to be opened and bottled. The caption at the bottom of the ad indicates that “Nature’s unhurried goodness + Schenley’s unmatched skill = The best-tasting whiskies in ages”.
