Description
Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their Menthol Flavor Filter Cigarettes. The ad, which graced the pages of magazines drring the warm, sunny month of December, has a peaceful picture of two men sitting in, what looks like, a homemade flat bottomed fishing boat. One man is checking through the assortment of fishing lures while the other holds his rod in his left hand, reaches for a lure with his right and skillfully puffs away on the lit Salem he holds clenched between his lips. The ad asks you to “Try the flavor that’s Springtime Fresh” and promises that “Salem refreshes your taste”.
