Full color 9 3/4″ x 13″ ad that describes the fact that “Salem softness freshens your taste with the smoothest flavor in cigarettes today”. We see a casual scene of a lady, who is smoking a Salem, preparing to alight from her stay in a carriage parked in a peaceful field. Her journey down is being helped by a man, also smoking a Salem, who is there to help her. The ad says that by smoking a Salem you will enjoy a “Modern filter plus – rich tobacco taste – smoothed with menthol – softened with fresh air”. You are asked to “Step into the wonderful world of Salem and there is an opened, yet full, pack of cigarettes being shown to you.
