Description

Ritz Ad 1937Full color 7 3/4″ x 11″ ad for their Crackers. There is a picture of a little girl trying to entice her doll to partake of a cracker pulled from a nearby box of Ritz. As she holds the cracker near the drawn-on mouth she urges “Mother says NOBODY can resist ’em…”. The text explains that the world-wide popularity of Ritz is due to the fact that “there has never been a cracker as delicious and goes on to describe the texture and taste of this product. The ad has two other small pictures, one showing a gathering of adults at a table with a plate of Ritz with cheese captioned “Popularity Secret!” and the other is of two children sharing a box of Ritz and washing them down with glasses of milk.
