The ad has a picture of a lady in a dark dress, a dark hat and white gloves surrounded by candles and the headline claims that “She never looks over made up…her skin glows with the softness of candlelight!”. The caption under the picture says “The Touch-and-Glow hat by Mr. John was inspired by Revlon’s new elegance in fashion. The Empress diamond by Van Cleef & Arpels, Paris, New York”. The ad explains that “As lines and shadows disappear, you look younger…more radiant!” and mentions that this product was offered in “nine subtle skin tone shades”.
