Description
Full color 9 3/4″ x 13″ ad for their selection of Rath Black Hawk Meats. The picture in this ad shows us a Sunday morning type of breakfast. There is a Sunday newspaper, a pair of glasses, a cup of coffee, a can of Rath Breakfast Sausage and a cooking pan filled with the sausage. The ad headline calls this a “Real Sunday go-to-meetin’ sausage…” and there is much more in the ad. “It was a rise-and-shine kind of fragrance that rose from the sausage in that old cast iron skillet. A Sunday-best, spicy goodness that teased even the most laggard sleeper. That’s the way it is with Rath’s modern-day Breakfast Sausages, too. (Except ours are out of the can…into the skillet…and browned in 4 minutes flat!) And good as they smell, they eat even better. And why not? Don’t we use porkers that make real pigs of themselves on Iowa’s golden corn? Don’t we chop those pink, lean chunks (‘stead of grinding) so as not to lose their sweet juices? Don’t we vacuum cook so not even a whiff of their spicy flavor escapes? We do! We do! It’s loving care we give our sausages so you can have Sunday – best any day. Keep a supply of Rath’s Black Hawk Breakfast Sausages in your pantry”. In addition to the can of Breakfast Sausage at the top of the page there is Luncheon Meat, Corned Beef Hash, Chili, Bacon and Dried Beef in addition to about a thousand more.
