Description

Pontiac GTO Convertible Ad 1968Pontiac GTO convertible – Full color 10″ x 13″ ad that promised that buying one will give you exactly what you expect. There is a picture of a Green GTO with a white interior parked by a rocky inlet where the male driver is getting something from the front seat as his female passenger sits attractively on the top of the back seat. A large sailboat is tied to the rocks just offshore and the two occupants of the GTO seem to be getting ready to move from one dream to another. The headline says that “If you’re searching for a machine that practices what it promises…try Wide-Tracking in The Great One”. The text talks somewhat about the magic of the GTO and mentions the new bumper which, as I remember, did not take well to parking close to a heater. As always it talks about the engine, a 400 in this case, which is the heart of this car.
