Description

Polaroid Camera Ad 1969 OctoberFull color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad that highlights the Polaroid Land Camera. This ad starts off with the heading that this is “The Polaroid Camera nobody can’t afford”. The ad then shows a very unique Polaroid sitting there looking at us, ready to take our picture. The ad then says that “This is the first year. A Polaroid Land Camera for color pictures, that’s less than $49.95. It’s $29.95: It makes big 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 color pictures in one minute (black-and-white in seconds). And makes them perfectly almost by itself. With an electronic shutter and electric eye. And a brilliantly sharp 3-element lens. Uses 4-shot flashcubes. An ingenious range-finder. And fast-loading pack film. It’s the kind of camera nobody thinks they can afford. The $29.95 Colorpack II. At the bottom of the ad there is a picture that is shown of two children and their grandparents, all four smiling very proudly.
