Description
Plymouth Valiant – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad with the message that, with this car, you can have the best of both worlds. There is a photo of a red Valiant seen from behind with several suitcases, tennis rackets, a set of golf clubs and a Beagle all waiting to be loaded. The ad headline claims that with this car you can “Lower Your Cost of Living it Up!” and the text talks about how rich playboys would love to have a car that looks this good yet it costs little enough that it can be bought by a young family. The claims that a Valiant will keep on saving its owners money and, in an interesting simile, it nurses gasoline like “a longshoreman drinking juniper tea.” It talks about the inclined engine and gives the benefits of having an alternator.
