Plymouth Barracuda Ad June 1967Plymouth Barracuda – Full color 7 3/4″ x 10 1/2″ ad for the car that is “Wild to Win you over”. There is a collage of pictures with the largest one being of a Yellow Barracuda parked on a beach with an assortment of activities going on behind it. Another picture is from the inside of the car looking at so that the instrument panel can be seen, as well as a pretty girl walking by, while the last picture is of this car coming at the camera on a tree-lined roadway. The text claims this car is “America’s lowest priced sports car” and then, to separate their claim from the one that the Ford Mustang was making, adds “(Repeat; sports car, not sporty car. Barracuda delivers)”. The ad mentions having three models; a Fastback, a Convertible and a $2449 Hardtop and mentions options such as the 273 or 383 V-8 and the Formula S package.
