Description

Plymouth Ad June 1937Plymouth – Black and white 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad that shows the 1937 Plymouth De Luxe 4-Door Touring Sedan. The headline of this ad starts off by saying “Biggest – Yet Upkeep On Plymouth Costs Less”. It then says that “YOUR BILLS are Lowest on Gas, Oil, Tires, Repairs and Plymouth’s Resale Value is Highest!”. It then says that “If you are buying a car – these two facts are worth money to you. 1: Higher used car prices prove Plymouth the best buy of “All Three”. 2: Owner’s statements certify that Plymouth costs less to run. Look into Plymouth’s new soundproofing…Safety Interior…double-acting hydraulic brakes. Save money with the car that stands up best!”. There are a number of pictures that show people working on building these cars to a man who has driven his Plymouth far enough to go around the world eight times to generally happy folks on the purchase of their Plymouth. The headline at the bottom of the ad says that Plymouth Builds Great Cars”.
