Description

Pepsi Ad 1971Full color 10″ x 13 1/2″ ad that prescribes buying more Pepsi than buying less. There is a photo of two couples having a picnic on a peaceful summer day. They are settling down with containers of food at, at the front of the pile of food, are two six-packs of Pepsi-Cola plus several more in a Pepsi labeled container of ice. The ad headline says that “One carton of Pepsi won’t last this weekend. You’d better Spring for Two”. The text of the ad says actually that you can’t have enough Pepsi so you might as well buy twice as many six-packs. In the lower right hand corner of the ad is a coupon for buying the container shown in the ad. This is the Pepsi-labelled tub that you could have purchased for $4.95.
