Description
Oldsmobile – Full color 9 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ ad that compares the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright with the Futuramic styling that Oldsmobile was offering in 1948. There is a drawing of a Yellow Convertible with the top down being driven by a smiling lady with a male passenger who seems a bit nervous at her aggressive driving. The text talks about the cars ability to hug a curve, to streak along a straightaway and to slip easily through traffic. Possibly the look on the man’s face indicates that the lady driving is enjoying some of these abilities. The text talks about the automatic transmission and some of the extra features on the Convertible which include hydraulically operated windows, power operated top and automatic seat adjusters.
