The ad, using a familiar picture of two men in Naval uniform standing by the rail on a ship at sea, has a headline calling Old Spice “The one lotion that’s cool, exciting-brisk as an ocean breeze!”. It then says that “The one and only Old Spice exhilarates…gives you that great-to-be-alive feeling…refreshes after every shave…adds to your assurance…and wins feminine approval every time. Old Spice After Shave Lotion. $1.25 and $2.00 plus tax”.
