Full color 10″ x 13 1/2″ ad for Newport cigarettes that, according to the headline, “Refreshes while you smoke”. The ad shows a relaxing picture of a couple swimming in the water. The man is wearing a bathing suit and is sitting with a towel around his neck on the rocks as he enjoys a Newport cigarette from the pack in his hands. His lady, standing nearby in pants and a shirt, is also enjoying a Newport as she is discussing something with him. The ad tells us that the “Coolness of Menthol, Refreshing hint of mint, Finest quality of tobaccos” can be found in this cigarette.
