The ad has a close-up photo of a couple spending intimate time outdoors with nothing separating them other than a lit Newport and a pair of sunglasses. The headline claims that “Newport smokes fresher!” and further states that it is “The only cigarette with a fine white filter, menthol and mint, and great-tasting tobaccos…fresher than any other menthol cigarette“.
