1977 MGB – Black and white 8″ x 11″ ad that gives an “Exciting opportunity to see the world. Inquire at your MG dealer”. There are two visions of the MGB in this ad. The first is of one parked on a rutted airfield with a plane, the two occupants of the car and the car, parked in the front with the front end seen first. The second is with the car closer to the plane, the two occupants standing and the car parked with its side visible. They claim that driving an MGB is as close as your likely to get to the exhilaration of flying without wings. They talk about the history of the MGB, the early days of racing and the fact that racing is providing the improvements.
