Mercury Comet Caliente Ad 1963 DecemberMercury Comet Caliente – Full color 9 3/4″ x 13 1/4″ ad that highlights the 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente. This ad shows two views of this particular car in the Turquois shade. At the top of the ad it has a picture of the driver’s side door opened in an outdoor setting, the door looking very nicely there. At the bottom of the ad it shows, from a view from the front and slightly off to the passenger’s side, the beautiful car, a Two-Door Turquoise car with a Black top and, between these two pictures are the descriptions of what we are looking at. The ad begins by saying that “There’s a lot of America’s Finest Luxury Cars in every Comet Caliente. It then claims “and a new 289 V-8 makes it every bit as hot as it looks. You see the Caliente‘s fine-car elegance in its bold, clean lines and wide, sturdy stance. Inside, you find luxury you’d expect only in the most costly cars, like warm walnut-toned paneling. You can select fine-car options like a 289 cu. in/ V-8, power steering, power brakes. Caliente is a totally new Comet – finest car in its field”.
