Description
Mercury Comet Cyclone – Full color 10″ x 13″ ad announcing the introduction of the Comet Cyclone. This ad, similar to another Comet ad on this page, shows a Red Comet against a white background with the image of cars racing around a banked track. The text explains that Mercury recently performed a test where several specially-equipped Comets were run around the Daytona track for 100,000 miles at an average of 105 mph. No mention is made as to what repairs had to be made during this time but the text does mention the features you will get in each Comet Cyclone.
