Mercury Ad June 1947Mercury – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad that is another in the series that insists that you get More of everything you want with Mercury and this ad indicates that this fact appeals to Women. There is a drawing of a lady driving a Blue Two-Door Mercury who has stopped and is talking to two other ladies standing on the other side of her Mercury so as to not block any of the impeccable lines of this car. The text indicates several general features that a woman wants in a car but also lists things that she does not want to give up. It indicates that Mercury was designed to give them the “best of both worlds”. It states that “Men judge a car differently” but have no problems with a woman choosing a Mercury because they are designed to give Men much more of everything they’re looking for”.
