Description

McKenna Whiskey Ad May 1964Black and white 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their hand made Kentucky Whiskey. There is a picture that shows a jug from 1855 next to a bottle from 1964 with a headline that states “If you want to know how Kentucky hand made whiskey tastes, open this bottle of Henry McKenna. The text gives a little bit of history talking about the Irishman Henry McKenna beginning with an output of one barrel a day. It says that his original distillery is still standing and the product is still being distilled from local corn. It also claims that the 71 year old brass and iron steam engine is still being used and, when repairs are needed, the parts are still made by hand.
