Description
Black and white 4 1/4″ x 5 3/4″ ad for the cigarette that made the claim to be “Mild as May”. There is a picture of a lady, from just above the lips down, holding a lit Marlboro in her fingers as she absently plays with the cigarettes in the pack that is perfectly positioned in the picture. The claim is also made in the ad, very important for the ladies which is who this cigarette was intended at this time, that the “Ivory Tips Protect the Lips”.
