Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for the Bad Taste but Good Performance you get with Listerine. There is a picture of an older person wearing a yellow raincoat and rainhat and holding a bottle of this product in his left hand. His right hand is placed over his heart and the headline has him stating for the record that “I hate it, but I love it.” The text explains that it kills the germs that cause bad breath and, since it does, this gentleman uses it twice a day. He brags that “I haven’t heard any complaints yet.”
