Libby's Ad 1940Full color 9 3/4″ x 13 3/4″ ad for Libby’s Family Of Juices. This ad starts off by showing a picture of a father and his two children sitting down at the breakfast table, each holding a glass of juice. The father starts off by saying “Say, mother’s got a real idea here…A different kind of fruit juice”. His daughter responds with “Pineapple Juice today; Another Libby kind tomorrow I heard her say”. His son then says “Oh, boy! This tastes swell!”. The ad headlines say that you can “Just Open A Can And Breakfast is different! and, that it is “Refreshing…any time o’ day!”. The ad mentions four different kinds of juice. They list Libby’s Pineapple Juice, Libby’s Tomato Juice, Libby’s Grapefruit Juice and Libby’s Loganberry Juice.
