Jane Wyman American Airlines Ad 1951Full color 7 3/4″ x 11″ ad that claims that the MGM movie Three Guys Named Mike was inspired by the success of the American Airlines Stewardesses. The picture in the ad shows a scene from the movie where Jane Wyman as a Stewardess is standing at the doorway of an American plane while passenger Van Johnson is standing behind her waving at someone out of sight to the reader. The text claims that the movie is very good and calls themselves “America’s Leading Airline”.
