Full color 10″ x 13 1/2″ ad with a picture of a corsage of tomato branches with four or five nice, juicy tomatoes on them and tied at the base of the stem with a red, white and blue bow. Perched in the middle of this is an unopened bottle of Hunt’s Tomato Catsup. What is this, you ask. The headline tells us that you “Say it with Hunt’s“. The ad text tells us that “Hunt’s doesn’t ripen tomatoes. We pick them ripe. Big, bursting ripe. Ready for the pot. We bubble them in our own blend of 7 spices. So almost before they lose their dew…you’ve got Hunt’s. Ready to turn hamburgers, French fries and hot dogs into spectaculars. How about tonight? Get Hunt’s…the catsup with the big tomato taste”.
