Full color 9 1/2″ x 14″ ad with a picture of a bunch of ripened tomatoes and an unopened bottle of Hunt’s Tomato Catsup together being washed down by a shower of water and the headline asks “Who ever heard of tomatoes getting a shower?” Well, we have our answer in the text of the ad. It says that “Hunt’s tomatoes do. In cool clear water. And we simmer them slowly in big kettles. Simmer them with seven savory spices. About two pounds of these big beauties go into every bottle. Next time pick up a bottle of Hunt’s…the catsup with the big tomato taste”.
