Heddon Fishing Ad 1952Black and white 9 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ ad for some of their popular bait and lures. The ad headline introduces the “Best of the New for ’52! from Heddon of course” and talks about their new Tad Polly. It has a closeup picture of one and it claims that “Its wiggle packs a wallop” while describing it as having a weight of 3/8 oz, a length of 3″, coming in 12 colors for a price of $1.35. The ad shows three new spinning lures, namely the Tiny Runt, the Tiny Torpedo and the Tiny Lucky 13 which all come in 8 colors, weigh 1/5 oz each and had a price of $1.25 each. There is also a picture of a new lure for dropoff fishing, the Saint Spinner which came in 6 colors, weighed 1/2 oz and cost $1.25. It shows three other new baits, the Baby Dowagiac which weighed 1/2 oz and cost $1.35, the Baby Lucky 13 which weighed 3/8 oz with a cost of $1.35, the Widget which weighed 5/100 oz with a cost of only $1.00 and the a ll-time favorite, the River Runt which came in 21 colors, weights of 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4 oz with a price of either $1.35 or $1.50.
