Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for their Green Giant Peas. The ad has a picture of the big guy delivering a basket of fresh-picked pods to a lady who seems extremely happy with the service. The headline urges you to “Open the door to Spring” and claims “The Green Giant puts June on your doorstep with his fresh-picked, baby-tender peas”. The text claims that opening and serving a can of these is “just as though the Green Giant stepped out to the garden and picked a batch of peas for you”. The claim is made that these are “picked at the fleeting moment of perfect flavor and packed into cans almost before the dewdrops have a chance to dry”.
