Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for their Sweet Peas. The ad has a picture of an evening where a green man wearing green clothes with spiked hair is squatting down in a field filled with pea plants as he gives a sleepy grin to the camera. The headline calls this a “Rhapsody in Green” and the text talks about the green of Springtime and how the Green Giant protectively watches over his plants. It mentions the use of special seed (S-537), timely picking and being canned within three hours of being picked.
