Full color 9 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ ad for Gilbey’s Vodka – 80 & 100 Proof. This ad has an interesting look to it. The top portion of this ad has a very good-looking tomato in it, with the voice-over caption saying that “I’m one tomato that loves being squeezed…in Vodka by Gilbey’s, of course”. The bottom half of this advertisement shows a bottle of Gilbey’s Vodka sitting next to a glass that, obviously, has a drink that has combined the Tomato and the Vodka. The text of this ad tells us that “Vodka by Gilbey’s brings out the very best in the flavor you like best – fruit juice, tonic, cola, vermouth. It’s superb vodka smooth, dry, clear…truly the quality vodka. And no after-breath”.
