Description

General Mills Ad 1966Full color 10″ x 14″ ad that sends the introduction that “Suddenly…snacks are in great shape!”. At the top left of the ad it says “In 1853” with a picture of what is supposed to be a chef at the time. The text says that he was working in Saratoga Springs, new York when he accidently cooked up potato chips. At the right side of the same level it says “In 1966” and there is a strange cone shaped thing that, hereafter, will be known as Bugles. In the sense of rhyming they say it is “A crunchy little horn…that tastes like corn”. There is an example of a box of these things and, I bet, there are several extras in the box.
