Description

General Mills Ad 1948Full color 10″ x 13 1/2″ ad that is entitled “To the girl who married Bob Feller”. There is a picture, half of the page, of Virginia Feller sitting and reading to their two children. While she is reading there is a picture of her husband sitting on the edge of the couch. The text attempts to justify where all of the money went. They give a figure of how much was given in to them, how much was sold to them and how much was paid to the workers. The rest, about 3 cents for each dollar, was their profit. This information was, according to the banner, “How the General Mills sales dollar was divided last year”.
