Description
1911 Franklin Models – Black and white 5 3/4″ x 9″ ad for the different models they were offering this year. The ad has a picture of one parked in front of another car and the text claims that “So easy are Franklin cars on tires that tire service is three to four times greater than on other cars”. It also mentions that Franklins were made in Five Chassis sizes with Two “Fours” and three “Sixes”. It then lists six models with various information including prices. Mentioned are the Model G Touring Car for $2000, the Model G Runabout for $1650, the Model M Touring Car, Torpedo-Phaeton or Roadster for $2800, the Model D Touring Car or Torpedo Phaeton for $3500, the Model H seven-passenger Touring for $4000, the Model H Limousine for $5000 and the 25-Horse-Power Limousine or Landaulet for $3000. It also mentions commercial cars such as One-Ton Trucks, Light Delivery Trucks, Patrols, Omnibuses and Taxicabs.
