Description
Thunderbird – Full color 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad that calls attention to the latest version of America’s most exciting car: Ford Thunderbird for ’56. The ad has a drawing of a field where Thunderbirds come to meet. In the ad we see a Blue Open T-Bird with a couple looking over at a family that has just gotten out of a Black Soft Top while in the background is a Red Hard Top and a Pink Hard Top. The text glosses over the amazing features of these cars, even to the point of talking about “the unique flair of its new spare-tire mounting”. It talks about the 225-h.p. Y-8 engine, describes more about the top options and mentions the “added protection of Ford’s exclusive Lifeguard design.”. There is a drawing at the bottom right of the picture that shows how the location of the spare tire allows you to have more room for luggage in the trunk.
