Description
1965 Fiat 1100D Station Wagon – Black and white 10″ x 14″ ad with a photo of a light-colored Four-Door Fiat Station Wagon balanced aloft from an overhead crane. The item seems to have shifted weight somewhat since it is hanging in a manner as though it is swinging. There is an attractive young lady attached to the top of the car, resting as though she is asleep. The title announces this as “Italy’s Proudest Export – Must MDCCLIX.oo”. The rest of the text makes this statement somewhat clearer saying that “In English, that’s $1759#. And in any language that makes the Fiat 1100D Four-Door Station Wagon the biggest imported car value of 1965. Questions: How can they deliver so much value all the way to America at such a minuscule price? Answer: It’s the Italians. They put their hearts into the job.”
