Description
1971 – Black and white 9 1/2″ x 13″ ad for the high number of Fiats that are sold in Europe in the countries of other car manufacturers. Over a picture of a a Fiat are the claims “For every Volkswagen sold in Italy, 8 Fiats are sold in Germany”, “For every Renault sold in Italy, 3 Fiats are sold in France” and “For every Volvo sold in Italy, 9 Fiats are sold in Sweden”. The text claims that there are fifty different kinds of small cars sold in Europe and Fiat sells more than anybody which is a powerful claim when you consider the variety of weather and roads that go throughout Europe. This ad is larger than my scanner bed so the outer edges of the ad will not be visible in the scanned view.
